Have you guys seen the rise of the now-viral nugu group Rescene? Their music was great but because they came from a small company they didn't make much waves except for Love Attack which got somewhere in the top 70 on Melon or something. But recently Woni got her own channel (Annyeonghaseyowoniimnidajalbudakdeulimnida but in hangul) and Minami came on as a guest where they did a gyaru bit. At some point Woni points out that if Minami dressed like that the people in Geoje would yell at her and in response Minami yelled a cute little "Geoje, yahoooo" and from that point on their rise has been meteoric. Just take the case of the satoori dialect of maknae zena whose video also went viral and then to top it all off as of recent liv and May went viral as well where especially Liv's balgalak yangmal was really appreciated. Love attack now sits in the top 5 in Melon isn't it amazing?!??!!?!?!?!?!?!
