reptilian skinwalkers are genuinely real, shit will make you rethink everything man. any of you looking to go out looking for those things, don't.

I love /x/ <=> /pol/ crossovers.

I appreciate it. pdf-view-themed-minor-mode will color the PDF to match whatever background and foreground your current theme uses.

Sometimes I go there, but I mostly used the chan view.
Anonymous
>>128716 #
you can also do more than one line if you do shift-enter
on the normal chan-view.

like so...

soon, maybe, native vimium keybinds or something.

slowly trying to get normies to memorize these things. keybinds are also configurable... somewhere... top-right

It's always nice to meet another Emacs user in the wild. I used to visit the Lisp General on 4chan's /g/.

i was in there too a couple times, but never posted. unfortunately lost my nice emacs setup when migrating a while ago, but i've been reconstructing. always in phases.

After 4chan died, I went over to lainchan, because the guy who used to put up the Lisp Generals a decade ago moved over to lainchan some years back. It's pretty slow there, but ...better than nothing. At least that site can syntax highlight lisp code correctly.
Anonymous
i'm not entirely sure which language this one tries to format as. maybe some testing is in order.
i checked out lainchan too, it's definitely on the slower side, also seems like it absorbed a good amount of the /x/ larpers (where else would they go?)
trying to find something interesting I found in Prolog, will link in a sec

One feature of Emacs I didn't take advantage of until recently was its ability of its bookmark system to save bookmarks inside PDF documents.
C-x r m
It's really useful for keeping track of useful text in your collection of PDFs.

I've never used Prolog before. The closest I've come is maybe dabbling in Erlang (which I think has a superficial similarity). Were you planning on using this Prolog system for a project?
>>128866 #

>>128856 #
hahaha, not the prolog implementation, no. it's a bit old. but yes, I'd like to at least get it set up and running, there's potential here that I'm sort of shocked nobody else is talking about. it theoretically can handle natural language, but the real strength is in conceptual reasoning and inference... why not stick it behind deepseek or something? one step towards inference, maybe.

s/tech/g/; meta.4chan.gay has a /tech/ that's like their /g/. i am no saint, but that place is too degenerate for me. coomdev who used to do the /cumg/ threads on 4chan is a really talented programmer though.

I did a deep dive into the reincarnation soul trap theory some months ago, and ...I don't have a good feeling about the situation. They make a lot of good points about how scammy some Near Death Experiences seem. I've also had one controlled OOBE in my life, so I take Robert Monroe's words seriously. He's the one who introduced the word "loosh" into our collective vocabulary. PDF attached.

i got a bit bummed out when i came back to the thread and saw the derailment, but it's whatever

the soul trap thing, that's a tough one i know the lore you're talking about with 'don't do into the light'

I feel like while you're still alive, you have to practice lucid dreaming and out-of-body travel so that once your physical body dies, you're already accustomed to the non-physical environment.

ive had a handful of OBEs. the first one was very similar to whats described in the NDE reports. i went into an inky pitch black darkness.it really spooked me so much so that i woke up. i think maybe we're overthinking it. i bet you we'll get there and it will be amazing and we'll know the answer to every question and get to interface with the light. reincarnation soul trap my not even be that bad. it kind of signals that you're not evolved enough yet or that maybe your soul actually wants to go back for another round.
Anonymous
avoid OBEs and chasing that occult shit. nothing but suffering awaits. demons lurk behind the keyboards, luring you into these dark practices. Jesus loves you

I've only had one OOBE, but what was more amazing was what preceded it 2 weeks prior. I had hit rock bottom, and I had just had the hardest crying session of my life. But after I was done crying, my body was vibrating a little bit. That night, my mind was way more clear than it had ever been before, and a bit accelerated even. I was looking at myself in the bathroom mirror and spontaneously did a life review, but instead of judging myself harshly, I was uncharacteristically very forgiving of my past mistakes. It was weird, because my mind was going so fast. I was forgiving, forgiving, forgiving, and then BOOM. The hugest surge of love I've ever felt came from inside me. I was not raised religiously, but I felt Christ-like in that moment, because I had so much love inside of me, and I felt so strong which was crazy, because I was so depressed before that. I experienced instant healing of years of childhood trauma.

...and it was from that high-energy state that 2 weeks later, I was able to have an OOBE. No one will ever convince me that it's evil, because it was the best moment in my life that made it possible.

that's kind of what i'm trying to say about people overreacting with the soul trap meme being some kind of gateway into the saturn matrix. i believe in god and his son jesus christ and that they will be there waiting for us when we arrive, and we get adorned with halos of light and have a big party in heaven

I think there might be something to this. There was a formerly gay guy who made a video about how he accidentally cured himself of homosexuality by doing a parasite cleanse. Imagine if homosexuality stopped being a lifestyle choice and became a curable disease instead. I'll see if I can find it.
